RAM View is a System Extension that displays the current memory status of your Mac using the LED's on the Apple Extended Keyboard. There are three LEDs and at any given time they represent the following:
Less than 25% of RAM used: no LED's on
Between 25% and 50%: Num lock ON (1 LED)
Between 25% and 50%: Num lock and Caps lock ON (2 LEDs)
Between 25% and 50%: Num lock, Caps lock and Scroll lock ON (All LED)
Using RAM View:
Don't need a Ph.D. for this puppy....just toss it in your extension folder and restart your Mac.
NOTE: Hitting the Caps lock key and programs that use any of the other LEDs (the programs are pretty rare) will fight with RAM View to gain control of the LEDs but there should not be any nasty problems. In case of INIT conflicts, RAM View feels most comfortable as the last item to load.
RAM View is a freeware product. You are free to use it and distribute it freely. However, S.N.R. Enterprises owns all rights to RAM View and you may not alter RAM View in any way. Any re-distribution should include this documentation. You may not charge for distribution of this package other than normal Users Group charges and BBS online charges.
